High School Baseball Player Transforms Body Composition

I started working with Wellthy Soul at the beginning of my junior year spring semester. As a baseball player, I wanted to cut about twenty pounds and lean out while keeping my strength up for the season. I also needed help with my nutrition since I was always tired during long school days and practice.
I had heard about Layne from friends and family who had worked with her and gotten great results, so I decided to check it out.
Working with Layne and registered dietitian Emily Parker, we mapped out an eight week plan that worked around my school schedule, baseball practices, and tournaments. The results were way better than I expected. I lost twenty five pounds in those first eight weeks and looked completely different. Parents at games who had not seen me in a couple months did not recognize me.
After that first phase, I kept working with them through the summer on a lean bulking program to build more muscle. The best part was never being hungry or feeling like I was on a strict diet. I cleared the junk food at home and stopped overeating, but I could still grab pizza or burgers with friends once a week without messing everything up.
