What Is The Athlete Edge Challenge?
The Athlete Edge Challenge is an 8-week program designed for student athletes who want to train smarter, fuel better, and perform at their best. From October through November, athletes will follow a proven structure that combines workouts, nutrition habits, recovery strategies, and mindset coaching.
Every week has a focus theme with simple in-app challenges to keep athletes accountable and motivated.

From College Athletes to Raising College Athletes

Wellthy Soul Founder and Coach, Layne Bruner was a NCAA, Division I Dancer for West Virginia University from Freshman to Senior year, 1997-2001. Following, she also danced professionally for the AFL. While in college, Layne graduated with honors with a B.S. from the Eberly College of Communications with a minor in Spanish.

Wellthy Soul Registered Dietician, Emily Schaller was a NCAA, Division III Lacrosse player for Keene State College from Freshman to Senior year, 2017-2021. While supporting the team in the midfield position, Emily received her B.S. in Health Science with an option in Nutrition.

8 Weeks of Personalized Nutrition (RD-Written)
Fuel is everything for athletes. Each participant receives a fully customized nutrition plan created by a Registered Dietitian. These plans support muscle growth, energy demands, and recovery—while teaching athletes what to eat and when.
Sport-Specific Strength & Agility Training
No cookie-cutter workouts here. Training is tailored to the athlete’s sport and position, designed to improve speed, strength, agility, and overall performance. Programs are progressive, safe, and built to create long-term gains.
Weekly Parent & Coach Check-Ins
You won’t be left guessing. We provide clear, consistent updates every week so parents and coaches know exactly how the athlete is progressing—nutrition, performance, and mindset included.
Weekly 1:1 Coaching Calls
Accountability is the difference-maker. Athletes meet weekly with their coach to review progress, adjust the plan, and set goals for the week ahead.
Sports Mindset Coaching
